Our Modalities

Transform Pain and Suffering into Wholeness and Vitality

We start with the question…

where does it hurt?

You’re here because you are experiencing acute pain that you just can’t ignore anymore.

Often this type of pain is tied to a more chronic, deep-seated pain, and it may manifest:

  • In your relationships

  • In your behavior towards yourself

  • Your worth, your value

  • Physical pain, constant headaches, shoulder tension

We address that surface-level pain through alchemical acupuncture, cupping, moxi, chinese medicine.

It provides relief but it is also our entrance into this work together.

THE ROOT OF YOUR PAIN

After we address your surface-level pain, we go into our deeper work through meditation, being mindful of:

  • Where you are in your life right now

  • Your past

  • How you envision your future self will be

In order for us to access these three layers of yourself, it’s important that we sit with ourselves. And that is through meditation, guided meditations, journeying, visualization.

This is where we may incorporate Shamanic work and explore if there's a soul loss or a fragmentation. We can help reclaim that part of you and work to integrate that which is lost so you can feel fully whole and live your life in the most joyful way.

Elements of Your Own Healing

The alchemy of healing is incorporating all these modalities into the healing process.

Healing is different from curing. Healing is getting back to feeling whole.

    Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a key component of Traditional Chinese Medicine that has been practiced in China and other Asian countries for thousands of years.

It involves the insertion of sharp and very thin sterile, disposable needles on strategic locations of the body. Acupuncture promotes the body’s innate ability to heal itself by stimulating specific anatomic sites or acupoints. Modern research has shown acupuncture’s positive effects on the nervous system, endocrine and immune systems, cardiovascular and digestive systems.

    Moxibustion

Moxibustion or Moxa is an ancient therapeutic Chinese medicine technique which involves burning of the herb Ai Ye or Mugwort (Artemesia vulgaris) and applied directly or indirectly over specific points on the body to help facilitate healing. Moxa is often used in conjunction with acupuncture to further enhance the healing effect of the treatment.

    Cupping

Cupping is an ancient therapeutic method of releasing toxins from the body’s tissue and organs. It involves applying a partial vacuum by various areas of the body, thereby enhancing blood flow to that area.

Cupping is a safe and non-invasive technique that is very effective in alleviating pain and discomfort from muscle and joint issues, internal organ disorders, and numerous other conditions.

    Mindfulness & Meditation

Mindfulness and meditation is the pause your body needs. It quiets the mind enough that you can actually listen to your body, a stage of body consciousness.

This can create a connection between the current pains you are feeling with a past trauma or experience, allowing for a deeper healing.

    Chinese Herbal Medicine

Chinese herbal medicine is a key component of traditional Chinese Medicine tracing back at least 5000 years. It is used today as a safe and natural system of primary health care to effectively treat a wide range of acute and chronic health issues.

A licensed practitioner can prescribe safe and effective Chinese herbal formulas that specifically matches one’s individual health condition. As your condition improves, your licensed practitioner will adjust and modify your herbal formula until the desired outcome is achieved.

    Essential Oils & Flower Essences

Flower essences and essential oils serve as powerful allies during acupuncture treatment, enhancing the body's healing response. Essential oils applied to acupuncture points amplify therapeutic effects through their aromatic and biochemical properties, promoting circulation and relaxation.

Flower essences work on emotional and energetic levels, addressing underlying patterns that manifest as physical symptoms. Together, they complement acupuncture's meridian-balancing effects, creating a holistic treatment experience that supports physical, emotional, and energetic well-being simultaneously.
